La Sorellona ens hem adherit a la campanya “STOP COMERÇ INVASORES” impulsada pel projecte LIFE Invasaqua, del qual en som col·laboradores.
Les ventes online han augmentat exponencialment en les últimes dècades, així com el comerç electrònic d’espècies exòtiques de fauna i flora. Moltes d’aquestes espècies, tot i que no estan llistades en catàlegs ni normatives, tenen un potencial invasor que pot generar impactes sobre el medi ambient i la biodiversitat, els sectors econòmics i la salut humana. A més a més, tot i que és il·legal, encara és possible trobar espècies exòtiques invasores a la venda en certs mercats electrònics. Tot això fa palesa la necessitat de desenvolupar eines que ajudin a prevenir l’arribada d’espècies exòtiques invasores a través del comerç electrònic.
La campanya “Stop Comerç Invasores” pretén fer arribar les recomanacions i bones pràctiques elaborades en el marc del projecte LIFE INVASAQUA sobre la compra-venda d’espècies exòtiques invasores, perquè ajudin a minimitzar els riscos del comerç electrònic com a mitjans d’introducció de flora i fauna invasores.
